I am not much of a poetry writer; I find prose easier to structure, and to dig into. But I write it when I can manage it, and read it when I can find it. It’s such a useful study for novel writing, and really helpful with sentence level craft (conveyance of emotion, concise word choice, imagery, flowing structure).
